Farmington Valley Quilters looks forward to meeting you!

Some of the benefits of membership include:

  • Spend time with and learn from a group of like-minded and talented quilters from your community.

  • Share your own quilting talents and interests with others who are anxious to learn more.

  • Free attendance at our monthly meetings.  We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Eno Memorial Hall in the center of beautiful Simsbury, CT.  The meetings start at 7pm but most members arrive between 6:30 & 6:45 to allow for some socializing.  Many meetings feature a guest speaker sharing their special skill and interests in quilting.

  • Some of our speakers will follow-up with a workshop the next day that is open to our members at a reduced price.

  • Participation in our charitable service projects including donating neonatal quilts and scent cloths to a neonatal unit  and contributing to a quilt for each new student at Simsbury's ABC House.

  • Participate in guild activities including our annual quilt challenge and quarterly friendship block raffles.

  • Access to the guild’s library of books and publications covering a wide variety of quilting topics.

  • Draw from our fabric swap box at each meeting.

  • Volunteer at our biennial quilt show. Our show is a major fundraiser for the guild and is a great way to meet other members and see the tremendous breadth of talent in our community.

  • Participate in holiday socials.

  • Join us at our spring and fall quilt retreats.

Dues are $25 annually, January - December.  Non-members may attend a meeting for a $10 guest fee.
