February - Service meeting accompanied by a Members-Teaching-Members program. There will be ABC Quilts that need bindings and Neonatal Quilts that need labels.
March 16th will feature Ed Johnetta Miller with her lecture “Giving Back to My Community and the World”. Ed Johnetta Miller is an internationally renowned artist and quilter and longtime resident in Hartford's Blue Hills neighborhood and is acknowledged to be one of the most creative and colorful improvisational quiltmakers in the United States. https://edjohnetta.com/
April 20th brings us Fun With Barb. Barb Vedder, a Madison, CT quilter, will present “Quilts, The Story of My Life”, a trunk show of her thirty years of quilting and quilt design. Her prize-winning quilts have been shown locally and nationally. Barb especially enjoys antique quilts from which she tries to envision their creators. https://funwithbarbandmary.blogspot.com/
May 18th will feature Timna Tarr with her “Flying Colors Trunk Show” She will talk about her design and color choices, as well as the personal stories behind her quilts. Timna is a national know quilter, and quilt and fabric designer who is based in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Timna will also offer a workshop on Thursday May 19th entitled “Stitched Mosaics” Create photorealistic quilts one square at a time in this one-day workshop. March 17th - Fabric artist, Christina Blais, will join our Zoom guild meeting to present "Transitioning from Traditional to Art Quilts." Christina is a collage quilter specializing in collage quilts and art quilts. She plans to photograph and show us every quilt she owns, as she shares her journey to becoming the artist she is today.
